About Gigi

This warm heart is Gigi, she's a 3 1/2 year old Havanese. She is a retired breeder because she has premature cataracts in both of her eyes. She is not blind and can still see, her vision would be best described as always looking through a plastic shower curtain. She is very responsive to sounds and smells. Her new family will need to go slow with her and let her learn her new surroundings one room at a time. It would be best to not let her try steps, we would recommend carrying her up and down and probably baby gate at the top of the stairs so she doesn't accidentally fall down. Despite her distorted vision this little girl is the absolute sweetest little thing. She is very social with people and other dogs. Having another dog for her to follow would be a good idea but not required. She has plenty of love to give a new family and we are sure she will. She is a non shedding dog and will need regular combing and grooming. She has been spayed and is current on her shots. She is not house trained and will need all training.
