Meet Oreo! Who doesn't love an Oreo? Hello! My name is Oreo, and I'm an 11-month-old, 43-lb mix from Texas. Right now, I'm going through heartworm treatment, but I should be all set and ready to go by January! I'm a curious and lovable pup who enjoys people- and dog-watching from my foster's windows. I'm very food-motivated and eager to please! While it may take me a moment to figure out what you're asking, I'm always determined to get it right. I'm a bit shy around strangers at first, but once I warm up, I'm incredibly cuddly and love following my foster mom everywhere to see what she's up to. My love language is definitely physical touch-I'll be all over you for the best snuggles! In my foster home, I live with another dog, and I'm very interested in her. Before starting my heartworm treatment, we had so much fun playing chase and tag in the dog park! While I'm still working on leash manners (I tend to pull), I'm potty trained and crate trained. I sleep soundly in my crate at night with no accidents. I rarely bark, but when I do, it's usually because I'm bored and looking for some attention. I haven't been introduced to children or cats yet, so I'm not sure how I feel about them. If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who will shower you with love and affection, I might just be the perfect pup for you. Could I be your forever Oreo?
