About Chilli

We rescued Chilli, our cattle dog Bingo's mama in August. Florida owner in long-term rehab and unable to care for his dogs. Unfortunately the girls are not a good fit together. They've foght occasionally and had a bad fight last night. At the vet ER for 6 hrs to get treated. Bingo hurt more bc Chilli bigger and stronger. We've tried separating them but the fights are too stressful. They're fine together most of time but Chilli gets fierce when resource guarding, jealous if human bf giving more attention to Bingo, or when Bingo tries to herd her. Sadly we need to rehome Chilli (2.5 yrs, 28 lbs & spayed). She had two litters of pups before we got her. She is very sweet with people/kids, watches TV and will happily sit in a lap to watch videos on a phone. She also loves long walks. Breaks our heart to see them fight and hurt each other. We've reached out to local rescue orgs to no avail thus far. Hoping she can be homed with a loving family where she is the ONLY dog. Happy to provide vet records, and waive fee for the right family,etc. Thanks so much.
