About Gertie

Adopter or foster in Orange County ONLY needed for Gertie! We are trying to get this girl and her 4 puppies out of our overcrowded shelter partner's facility on Kauai, but we cannot do that unless we have homes waiting for them upon arrival. Gertie and her pups were found abandoned on Kauai. They are all recovering from some treatable skin issues. Gertie will arrive to us spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. She is described as good with other dogs and very sweet. She will need help with training, including basic obedience, potty training, and crate training. This girl has obviously been through a lot, taking care of her babies while on the streets. She deserves an incredible, patient home willing to show her how good life can be and how worthy she is of love.
