Meet Eleanor! Eleanor is just about 3 years old but still very much a puppy. We think Eleanor is a Puggle (just a guess) and she weighs 15 lbs. Eleanor might be on the small size, but she has tons of energy and needs to get her zoomies out! We often joke she has to have some greyhound in her because she's FAST! With some work she will be a great hiking and running partner. Since coming to us almost a month ago she has been working hard on her confidence and learning how to dog. She's very timid and shy when meeting new people and new situations, but once she warms up to you, she won't want to leave your side! She loves to run and play with toys and wrestle with the big dogs. In order for Eleanor to continue becoming the best dog she can be, if there are children in her home they should be 12 years and up as she is scared of a lot of activity in the home. Eleanor will require another young and playful and preferably a larger dog, in her forever home. Eleanor absolutely adores the German Shepherd in her foster home. Eleanor will require structure and a patient adopter who will understand that Eleanor needs time to gain trust in new people and new situations. Eleanor is spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
