About Smokie

I have to give up having Smokie. I have had Smokie since he was about 1 1/2 years old. He's 5 years old now. Very serious abuse history. Afraid of storms, brooms, mops, vacuums, and brushes. I board him at a local veterinarian clinic when I go out of town. He takes medication the night before, and the morning of, boarding and what they give him while he is there. Otherwise, he takes no medication. Photo shows him relaxing in the back seat of a car I was working on. He has bitten people before. Not for 1+ years. The Veterinary clinic said that he is 'food aggressive,' meaning likely he has been teased by someone offering and then withholding food in the past. It took time, but he is sweet with me.
