Courtesy Posting: HANFORD, CA (CENTRAL CAL) - KINGS COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES- ID #A0057376724 - 'SIMBA' X URGENT, SHELTER IS FULL; DUMPED W/ HIS ENTIRE FAMILY, SWEET and MAY BE ADOPTED as of 12/6, BUT MAY ALSO NEED RESCUE, ALONG WITH HIS MATE, NALA, AND THEIR 5 YOUNG PUPPIES WHO ARE RESCUE ONLY- GOOD HOME, FOSTER AND OR RESCUE NEEDED ASAP FOR THIS FRIENDLY, ADORABLE BOY. Please see our separate post for Momma & puppies Please help us find a loving home, or foster and or rescue asap for this sweet but neglected gentleman who we fondly call Simba. He was sadly dumped with a momma chow and FIVE - 1 week old puppies. Simba is believed to be the father but can be adopted, while Momma Nala and her puppies are Rescue only due to them not being weaned. Simba is estimated to be 4 years old, and while he was found in somewhat neglected condition, and reserved at first, the shelter said he warmed up in a couple of minutes to staff. They also gave us nice video showing him in the playyard with a female husky. Sadly, though, Simba may be at risk for euthanasia soon due to lack of space and high intake.
