About Issys

Adoption Fee: $500
Siberian Husky / Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Issys is a two year old Pitsky- husky/pitbull mix (Embark DNA tested). She was rescued by our family when she was 3 months old from a gas station. She is a highly intelligent dog, who loves her training clicker and all eyes on her. Issys is house broken, crate trained, and has actual recall for a husky mix (just say 'Issys, Come!' and she will turn on a dime!). She currently lives with a 9yo child and a 7yo Pitbull, so she gets along well with other pets and children. Current commands learned: outside, pee/poop (will go on command in designated area), sit, stay, down, up, crate, run, come, gentle, yes, no, drop, give me, play, train, and stay in yard (we do not have a fenced yard, was taught to stay in property lines/away from streets). Reason for rehome: I am a 100% rated, disabled veteran that was in the Army for 10 years (willing to show proof). My disabilities the past year have been making it harder to provide Issys the exercise she needs and deserves. She is very high energy and requires more activity than my 7yo Pitbull, who is limping around with me now as well. I have been pushing myself past my limits the past year to provide the attention and exercise she needs, which is affecting how I parent my 9yo when I cannot physically walk for several days after taking Issys on extended walks. This decision was not easy, but it is the best thing for me physically right now so I can get the help I need for my health. Provided with Issys: two crates (hard and soft), all vet records (she is current on vaccines/spayed), water/food bowl table, collar, leash, toys, groomer vacuum with attachments, shampoo/ conditioner/ towel, clicker and training treats, car seat belt, and bathroom alert bells.
