Meet Margarita! Margarita is about 3 years old and weighs about 15 lbs. We think she is a Chihuahua Mix (just a guess). Margarita came to us from a hoarding situation where she was living in filth along with 40 other dogs. Margarita is very shy and unsure of life in her foster home right now, but she is getting better slowly. Margarita is doing well walking on leash and learning what is means to be a companion to her foster family. Margarita is working on house training and right now she enjoys just chilling in her dog bed in a puppy pen. Margarita is great with other dogs, but she is not a playmate. Margarita is used to being around dogs and will require another dog in her forever home as a companion. As of right now, Margarita would do best in a home that is calm and quiet all adult home. She will require a consistent schedule so will need a home where someone is around a good portion of the day. Margarita is spayed, she is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care.
