About Ashley (cell dog)

Ashley is currently enrolled in our 8 week basic obedience training. While there she will work on learning basic commands such as: sit, stay, down, come, heel and down. Ashley will also work on crate training, leash training, and socialization. She will complete her program on March 18, 2025 and be ready for her new home. Allow me to introduce you to Ashley, a delightful and affectionate girl who is around 2 years old and weighs a healthy 50 pounds. With her warm, friendly demeanor, she lights up the room and quickly captures the hearts of everyone she meets. Ashley is incredibly social; she thrives on interactions with both people and other dogs, always eager for a cuddle session. Her joyful personality is evident in the way her tail wags energetically, signaling her readiness for fun and companionship. Ashley walks reasonably well on a leash, showcasing her adventurous spirit, and she has already mastered the 'sit' command. Currently, she's honing her skills and working diligently on the 'stay' command, showing her enthusiasm to learn and please. Ashley perfectly balances her playful nature with moments of quiet relaxation, making her an ideal companion for those cozy evenings on the couch. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees:** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment:** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards please.
