I inherited Cookie from my mother and she is, for the most part, a pleasure. She loves people and I am just one person. She needs a pack ... more than one person who is constantly around. She has pretty severe separation anxiety and must have access to a human at all times. I do this via small dog daycare and sacrifice of personal time. After 3.5 years of the latter, I am trying to find her the right home. Please only contact me if the following is true of your situation: 1. You have multiple people in your home 2. You have a home with a fenced in yard for her to roam under supervision (she's 10 lbs.) 3. You will not leave her alone until she has been trained or she acclimates to the situation with other dogs in the house. 4. You can be affectionate ... she loves snuggling and pets and will demand either one at different times. She is too cute to resist. She is healthy. She sleeps a lot but is always ready for a walk. She is a picky eater and has more interest in your food than what's in her dish but I can easily teach you the routine that gets her fed. She is not a huge barker but will resort to it, should she want something badly enough ... or if there is someone approaching the house. Cookie comes with tons of toys and beds, etc. She likes tug of war, squeaker mats, and the Kong treat dispenser. She has been posted previously. It was difficult finding the right situation, probably because I wanted to be involved in the transition from one home to the next. I truly care where she winds up and will await a true match; I at least want to see the house she'll be going to ... so, out of staters might find it difficult to close this deal.
