About Nala

We adopted Nala from NHS in October 2021 at 8 months old. Her name before was Babygirl and she still responds to that name too. Nala loves to play as well, especially fetch and tug of war with her older sister. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows a few commands such as paw and sit. There are some behavioral 'issues'. She does jump up onto people when excited and happy; however, if you say down, she will get down. I believe this can be fixed with training. For example, she knows not to jump on me or my daughter. She does pull on walks. She does better with a no pull leashes. She just likes to lead. When we adopted her from NHS, they did recommend that we do not take her to the dog park and we took that recommendation seriously. She does great with our 2 small female dogs; however, her and my family's male, neutered mini Aussie do fight (with him being the aggressor).
