About Henry

No out of state adoptions or Northern California will not be considered at all Los Angeles area is off the table , LA county is no go as well -- Prefer Orange County area - Parts of Different cities will be acceptable Lab mix around 20 pounds This is Henry a 10 month old male lab mix ! He is currently located in Irvine CA and looking for his forever home.He LOVES to play with his toys and go for walks and watch the squirrels on the trees and at every chance he gets he will sit for some ear rubs. Although we would love to have him in our home we have two dogs already and don't have the space to sustain him being with us long term :( While we are fostering him we have potty trained and crate trained him. He loves going on walks and easily adapted to leash training as well as house training! At our recent trips to the vet we have gotten him fully vaccinated and he is not neutered yet. Vet has told us he is full grown at 20 pounds but is still working to gain some more weight. Henry is a really shy and timid pup that needs a home with a lot of patience as he is scared of majority of men. We have a male in the home that with lots of patience and a few weeks has earned Henry's love and affection. He's never bit anyone but will give a small warning growl if his space is invaded before he is ready. He LOVES other dogs and happily will play with any dog of any size. We haven't introduced him to any cats or children but he needs very calm and gentle surroundings. Since having him in our home we have been trying to work on his separation anxiety but it's still a work in progress. We've been able to leave him along for 1-2 hours and he's done great.
