About Lizzie

NEEDS PLACEMENT BY 2/24/25 Lizzie is a 9 year old female Dilute Calico Tabby mix. She was adopted at 9 weeks old and has been with her momma her whole life. Her momma passed away and Lizzie needs a new family to love. She will be shy and standoffish at first in any new environment and around new people. She will need time to adjust. Lizzie is a dominant female and had spats with her siblings. She is a diva. She is not looking to get chummy with anyone, but can conexist. She has lived with 6 other cats all her life and there has been no real issues. Lizzie is very independent, a leg rubber, and wants affection on her terms. She was very loving to her momma and she is missing her. She is also used to living with small dogs. Although she is an indoor cat, the home had a screened in porch added just for the cats and Lizzie loves being outside. When the weather was nice and the windows were open, you could also often see him laying in the window sill. She also had a habit of sneaking out the door from time to time too, however, she never left the property or stayed out too long. However, she is to be an indoor only pet unless there is a safe outdoor place for her to be. She is litter box trained. A few years ago, Lizzie had a broken blood vessel between the inner and outer skin of her LEFT ear flap. It had to be drained and repaired causing the ear flap to become crimped. Her ear flap is there, it just cannot stand up. Otherwise her ear is fine and has had no other problems. Someone is caring for her in her home, but the house is being sold and she needs to find a new home by mid February 24, 2025 . She is indoor only and litter box trained.
