We have had Courage for over 6 years and he's been a sweet, sensitive dog who loves on our cats and enjoys playing and walks with his humans. He does not however like toddlers, and has begun showing aggression towards our 18 month old, which has escalated to warning bites in the air, and most recently with her hand in his mouth, though thankfully no broken skin. For her safety, we need to rehome him immediately. We are looking for someone who has no young children, who can give him daily walks, and can afford his prescription diet. He has protein losing enteropathy. His condition is manageable with diet alone, according to our vet, and our experience, but it is pricey. If someone is willing to foster him while he awaits his forever home, we would be willing to pitch in 50% for his food for 3-6 months. We believe he will be a much less picky eater, and a much happier dog, in another home.
