About Makayla

My name is Makayla, and I'm a stunning 5-month-old Tortoiseshell with a playful personality and a dash of sass (or maybe it's Tortitude that all of us Torties are known for!). Not only do I have a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind coat, but I'm also full of fun and curiosity. I had a humble start in life, being trapped as a kitten from a feral colony. Since then, I've come a long way, thanks to my amazing foster mom and my foster buddy, Princess. She helped me build confidence and learn that people can be pretty great. Now, you'll often find me running around with the resident cats or showing off my playful side! While I'm still working on fully accepting pets, I love sitting or laying nearby and hanging out with my foster mom. She says I'm quite the character-I purr when I'm happy and bring tons of joy and entertainment with my antics. What I'm looking for in my forever home: * A calm and quiet environment where I can continue to blossom. * At least one playful kitty companion-I thrive with feline friends! (Bonus: My foster buddies Princess and Itzzy are also available for adoption!) * A patient and loving adopter who will give me time to feel safe and comfortable.
