About Hank

Hank is a 2- year old purebred Rottweiler who has been living well with a young family. He is a great dog but needs help with resource guarding tendencies. His resource guarding comes out mostly with food but has also shown up with his 'place'. This looks like growling or quick snaps at the air. His temperament is no longer compatible with the age of the children - but his issues can very likely be worked through with a competent adult household. We will continue to work with him until he can be placed in an appropriate home- if we were to surrender him to a pound, he would likely be euthanized because of the presentation of aggression.
