About Malina

Doberman Pinscher / German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

VIDEO INCLUDED! URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP! Malina's story is heartbreaking and all too familiar. This beautiful 2-year-old Doberman mix was abandoned alongside her partner, Traviezo, and their son, Osito. After their family left them behind , they were taken to a boarding facility to keep them safe from entering a kill shelter. But now, time has run out. The funds for their boarding are gone, and if Malina doesn't find a foster or adopter, her future is uncertain. Malina has lived with children her entire life, from toddlers to teenagers, and has shown nothing but gentleness and patience. She has not been around cats but does well with other dogs after a proper introduction. While she may bark a little when meeting new people, it's only because she's nervous. Once she feels safe, she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate side. Despite everything she's been through, Malina is playful, loving, and eager to find a stable home where she can finally relax and feel secure. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, and housebroken. Malina loves to be petted and is learning to perfect commands like 'stay' and 'sit' until she is released. She is intelligent and eager to please you. She would thrive in a home with someone patient, a big yard to play in, and maybe even a canine companion. This sweet girl is running out of time. If you can open your heart and home to Malina, either temporarily as a foster or permanently as her dopter, please contact Jennifer at +1 (714). 366-8170 with Pumpkin Pawz Rescue. Text is preferred.
