About Fievel

Happy #NationalMuttDay From Fievel :) National Mutt Day is celebrated twice a year, so why not do a special #ShoutOut about Fievel and promote him twice! Fievel is a 5 year old male pit bull that was found near the #EastSide of Long Beach wearing a very worn soft muzzle. Based on the missing fur and indentation line above his nose, it's clear he has adorned the muzzle for a long time and likely was owned by someone in a community housing living situation. Sadly, Fievel's mom & dad never showed up to claim him & he was very heartbroken about it �٪%81 Fievel initially arrived very upbeat enjoying pets & scratches (especially the butt scratches), but after his first night in #DoggyJail that tail went right down in between his legs and has been very scared of all the noises and commotion that goes on at the shelter. BUT it sure is good to see Fievel has perked back up as he waits to find a new place to call home �٪� Now Fievel has a new problem that the shelter can't solve on their own, he's desperate for routine daily interactions with people �٪%81 Sadly, the shelter is seeing too many lost and unwanted pets arrive EVERY SINGLE DAY which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for staff & volunteers to satisfy the basic needs for EVERY PET in their care. #PlainAndSimple Fievel NEEDS A HOME. Fievel needs a person/family/companion to be his daily-bestie, without that Fievel isn't going to make it much longer at the shelter... and there's nothing sadder than seeing a pet suffer and a shelter making difficult decisions just because a dog wants to be a companion and be loved, and not be an inmate in a concrete cell.
