About Lavern & Shirley

Hi! My name is Laverne (I am pictured on the right side�'�|..your right, not mine) and I am happy to tell you about myself and my sister Shirley! About 3 weeks ago, this nice man picked me and my sister Shirley up�'�|.you see, we had been abandoned. We were starving, cold, wet and needed someone to help us. So, this nice man provided food, water, shelter, gave us baths and not to mention, his love! He did all this, without asking for anything in return. What a great guy! Naturally, Shirley and I are in love with him and his beautiful family. Unfortunately, the dog that was here before we arrived, doesn't like us. We try to get along with her, but she is just not having it. Anyhow, this 'big softie' of a man wants to keep us but just can't, so now he is looking for a good home(s) for us. We can either go together or separately. More about me! I love all people (even the ones that abandoned me), I am very gentle, I have a lot of energy, so I adore running as fast as I can, playing with other dogs and chasing cats up trees (this chasing cats thing, it's an addiction and I need your help to break me of this habit)! I am not so good with numbers but if I had to guess my age, I'd say I am about 12 to 18 months old, maybe 2 years�'�|..again, that's just a guess. I am very smart and would really like to go to work! Do you have a job for me? Do you have any pesky neighbor cats? I can chase them around the yard and up trees! (Cough, Cough, Cough, I really need to get a handle on this�'�|.but it's SOOO good!) Okay, where did I leave off�'�|oh yeah, a job for me. My favorite job is loving on my human or humans. I promise, I will melt your heart! I do have a few things that I need, other than your love (trust me, love is my favorite). I need to go to the animal doctor and have him or her examine me. The man I live with says I need to get some shots and to be spayed. I have no idea what those things are; but he's been so nice to me and my sister, it can't be bad!
