About Dez

Hello. This is Dez. We rescued him off of the streets about two months ago. He started showing up to my shop and my fianc��%BD��%BD and I couldn't let him stay out there knowing it was about to get cold. His gorgeous green eyes didn't make it any easier to say no. He is such a sweet and loving cat, but at the same time he can get snappy which is understandable because we don't know his history. He has warmed up a ton, but my toddler and him have had issues from the start and it is just starting to be too much. We don't want this to effect our son's behavior, or our relationship with our son because we are constantly having to put him in time out for throwing things at the cat or put the cat in the room for trying to bite or swat at our son. We also hate that Dez has to deal with this and want him to feel safe and not scared and on guard all of the time. Dez deserves to have a loving and safe home. He loves cuddles so much! We think a house without children would be best for him, but we also think it could work if you have the patience and if you believe your child can handle it and be patient. Definitely recommend having designated rooms that Dez can go to for his private time or if he gets overwhelmed. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with vaccines. He is definitely an indoor cat. He wants to be around people. Also for the purebred or mixed question we are not sure, but it made us choose one. The adoption fee is to cover at least some of the expenses we have had to pay. He would come with his cat tower, his food and water bowls and matt that goes underneath, his litter box and matt for that and any other essentials that we have like his buzzer set, nails clippers, food, litter, etc. Thank you.
