About Max

If you look up the term 'gentle giant' you will find a photograph of Max, and yes, he is as gentle as he is gigantic, with a giving heart that is just as big. Max lived a happy life with his human who raised him from puppyhood, but that person died recently and poor Max was left with nobody to call his own. Naturally he has found this transition difficult but has come through with bravery and grace. He is always willing to create a bond and definitely extends himself with new people, a little shyly perhaps, but with a trusting eagerness to be loved again. Despite the last few confusing months he has come through well and is definitely ready to connect with that special someone again. Max knows all the basic commands, has the pleasant manners of a dog who has been loved all his life and does easily into any routine. He likes a walk and likes a nap just as much, and he loves to be given attention and love.
