About Hippo

Meet 3 yr old mini am staff Hippo! He's a beautiful brindle color and the photo doesnt do him justice! Meet Hippo! He's a big personality in a little body! In the home he's lazy, mellow, affectionate and a couch potato. Outside he loves going to the beach, car rides and exploring. He needs a strong handler, someone who is ok with him barking at little dogs on walks and can pull him away and exude pack leader confidence to let him no you're in charge. With slow intro's and a few weeks of crate training he will be comfortable with another dog in the house. Thats how he was introduced to the dogs in the foster home and he's been great with all of them. He did amazing on a Vegas trip and was house broken in the hotel room so he's a great vacation companion as well. He's neutered, utd on his vaccines and looking for an active adventurous soul mate to take him to fun places to live life to the fullest after almost losing his life at the shelter.
