About Rudy

Rudy is a handsome, energetic 1 yo., 60 lbs. hound mix with a sweet personality who loves his people and would make a great companion for an active family. He walks well on a leash and loves to play, but settles down nicely to cuddle after some exercise. He responds well to vocal and leash redirections from humans and corrections from other dogs. He has learned a lot since being in his foster home, including Sit/Down/Stay, waiting patiently for his food and the leash to be put on, and being calm in his kennel before the door will be opened. He loves other dogs after a slow introduction but hasn't been tested with cats yet. He is interested in squirrels, birds, etc... but can be redirected, so living with a dog-savvy cat could work. He rides well in the car and was great on outings in the community meeting new people. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.
