Meet NEWPORT Meet Newport! He's a young, male pup with lots of love to give. He's a very friendly, affectionate and playful dog. We know Newport is great with female dogs but has not been tested around male dogs. Newport is also CAT friendly! He would be the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a best friend. Newport loves to be included in all family activities, whether it's going on walks or just hanging out on the couch. He's a very easy-going dog who is always up for a good time. His hobbies include playing fetch and learning new tricks. He is a quick learner and is fully house trained. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate and playful pup, then Newport is the one for you! Newport is heartworm negative, neutered and doing a great job recovering from his entropion surgery. House broke and kennel trained. Newport can be a little strong on a leash if excited. Due to his size and exuberance at times, we recommend no kids under 14. He weighs a little over 100 pounds. *** ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Chapel Hill, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $400, including a non-refundable $25 application fee.
