About Sadie

This is Sadie (AKA Sadie Sue.) She will be 5 in Jan. I have had her, her whole life. She is great with people! Sometimes gets a little too excited around them. She used to do well with cats until our oldest ones 2nd pregnancy. Now she will go for them so we try to keep them separated. She does okay with other dogs. We have two other dogs and when they are just relaxing around each other, she does fine. But when they start getting hyper and jumping on her and getting in her face, she does not like it. She has bit them before for being in her face. I think if she were in a home with a dog her size that was calm, she would do just fine. Or if she were in a home by herself. One of our dogs is much smaller than her so I do worry about what would happen if I left them alone and he got in her face. One of the reasons I need to rehome. The other two dogs we have belong to my boys and that is why I am not rehoming them. I would rather them keep theirs. She has not had her vaccines yet this year but I do have record of it from last year. She is not fixed. I think she had a phantom pregnancy once as she looks like she has nursed before, but she has never been pregnant. She loves to run out in the yard. She will bark at deer, squirrels, etc. She does not do well with chickens. We have had her on an invisible fence and she does great with those. Knows her boundaries. She will bark at people when they are not in her boundaries so I know that scares some people. But as soon as they get in her boundaries she will jump and lick them. She will get to know your schedule and literally follow you everywhere, even to the restroom. She does like to jump in your face. She loves to have her arm/paw scratched. She really is a great dog. I would love to see her go to another good home. I would love to be able to stay in touch with whomever takes her, just until she gets used to her new home. Please love this baby girl!
