After being surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Texas simply because of an ear infection her owner refused to treat, Portia found herself on the euthanasia list within just 8 weeks. ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD But Portia's story didn't end there. Thankfully, Paws of Hope Rescue stepped in to give her the second chance she so desperately deserved. She made the journey to Ohio, where she is now in foster care, learning what love, patience, and consistency feel like.
