We recently adopted Jack from South Carolina. Unfortunately, when we introduced him to our family dogs (gradually) he was aggressive and his behavior towards them has not improved despite interventions. Jack is very good with humans, both children and adults. He seeks out love, affection and petting. He is curious, likes to walk and ride in the car. No issues found when walking him with other dogs or people. He seems to be mostly house trained. Jack does resource guard his food and areas that he feels he owns with dogs in the home (not humans). We made efforts to correct over-time however the stress of his interactions with our family dogs made our situation difficult. He would thrive in a home where he is the only dog. Jack came to us with heartworm and is on medication. He will need to follow up with a vet. He has a large bed, harness, leash, food bowls and food.
