About Charlie

Charlie is a sweet, cuddly, and fun border collie. He has been with us since he was 6 months old. Before this, he seemed to have had a rough puppyhood and came with some behavior problems. Thankfully with training he was able to work out most of them and has rounded out into a very sweet and obedient dog. Charlie would love to be home with someone for most the day but is also crate trained well. He is very playful and loves tug of war and some play wrestling. He has medium energy so he likes a good play session once a day and a short to medium walk each day. Otherwise he likes the occasional hike or park visit. Charlie is mostly very friendly with dogs or his size or larger and with kids. But he does have a resource guarding issue towards little kids and dogs. He would be best as an only dog or with only one other dog companion. We are rehoming him because we have a 1 year old and don't want to put either of them in a sticky situation.
