About Brenda

Brenda Splenda is a fun, quirky, and energetic girl that came bounding into my life 2.5 years ago having chewed her way loose from the ratchet strap I suppose she was tied up with. We attempted to find her owners to no avail & had her scanned but she wasn't chipped. I said I'd 'hold onto her until we found her a good home.' In my care she has come SUCH a long way, but there have been some struggles that have led me to admit I am in over my head with Brenda. Potty training, despite my extensive experience, never caught on. She also has constant stomach and digestive issues causing her frequent and severe, some days a week long, bouts of diarrhea. My living situation had changed drastically since I got Brenda (divorced now on one income working more hours) and this has also led to difficulty in porty issues. She is so so SO sweet, weird, affectionate, loving and playful. She has been my whole world since I've had her and I've been putting this off for well over a year but now her health is my main priority and she deserves to go somewhere amazing where she can get the care she needs. Mt 9 year old son is heartbroken and asks that whoever has Brenda next will please send photo updates. She's absolutely ready for a good home with lots of love (and kids! Once she gets used to them). She isn't spayed and while I got her shots 2 years in a row, she is now behind on them. We estimated she was about 3 when we found her, making her over 5 now. I suspect she has had at least 1 litter due to nursing habits with her babies (which is actually very cute lol).
