About Winnie

Winnie is a German Shepherd mix. I've been told that she may be mixed with Australian Cattle dog, but I'm not 100% sure. She does seem to have a lot of herding instincts based on how she interacts with other animals. I am trying to find her a new home because she is not an inside dog, and that is where she is most of the time. I feel bad keeping her cooped up. She would much rather be outside, running around and being free. Although she is very submissive and loves pets, she is not a 'lap dog' by any means. When inside, she has to be on guard and is always on high alert. I feel that she needs a farm or a large open space where she has room to roam and exert all of her energy. She's very sweet and listens well, I just don't have the space that I know she needs. She seems to be a working dog that would be much happier doing what she was born to do.
