Meet Mookie, named after a baseball player. We need to find a new home for our 6 year old family pet because he bit my daughter's dog who lives next door. He has never shown any aggression towards any other dog. He is a rescue, so we are not sure if he is a purebred, but think he was born sometime in the Spring of 2018. He was about 60 lbs when we rescued him and he is now 106lbs. He is up to date with all shots and heart worm prevention and has had annual vet visits. We have never had issues with any other dogs or humans. He has lived with two female german sheperds and also a small dog. Mookie does great at dog parks with other dogs, loves to swim and go for long car rides, and is leash trained and loves long slow hikes in the woods. The two dogs share a fence and we think the issue is resource guarding for both male dogs. We have 3 grandsons next door, so it is our responsibility to find a new home for Mookie since the two dogs can no longer live together. There is a 2-3 month wait list at the shelter. Please help.
