About Ryder

K9 Ryder is an 8 year old retired explosives detection dog. He loves to play fetch, although his peripheral vision is going out and sometimes it takes him a while to find it. But he loves the game of searching too! He's great with cats and just leaves them alone. We have 2. Other dogs he's mostly good with, although he does like to mount them. Hes good with kids, but I would say a home with older kids is best. He sometimes mounts younger kids. Ryder is crate trained and house trained. He knows how to sit and lay down. While being employed as an explosive detection K9, he was encouraged to slightly pull at the end of the leash. We are working on teaching him heel. Ryder is a smart guy that loves his Kong, swimming and fetching. Feel free to reach out for further pictures and details.
