About Helen

11/24/24 Helen is a very special little chi mix about a year old and weighs around 12 pounds. She came to us from a very bad hording situation and didn't get a lot of human interaction or love while she was there. She will need a home that will have the time a patience to bring her in and just let her be. She is in desperate need of somewhere that is stable and she can just be her while she takes all the time she needs to decompress and understand that humans are good and kind. A home with another well balanced dog her size would be best for her along with a fully fenced and secure yard as she is not used to leashes yet. She's getting some house and crate training while in rescue but her new home will need keep that up once she gets there. She's good with other dogs but has not been cat tested. She would do best in a home with no small children, a home more quiet and stable. **This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
