NOLA in need of a new home. Age: 9.5 years old Breed: Catahoula Size: Medium (55 lbs.) Gender: Female (spayed) Microchipped and Up-to-Date on Vaccinations About NOLA: NOLA is a beautiful Catahoula mix, full of personality and love, looking for a new home. She's a good girl with a heart of gold, but we can no longer care for her due to our young toddler daughter. We have tried for over a year to integrate them together, but to no avail. This rehoming is to provide a better life for Nola and a safer environment for our daughter. NOLA is well-trained and housebroken. She is very intelligent and can be quite playful, especially when it comes to fetch and tug-of-war. She also enjoys long walks and exploring the outdoors. Lizard hunting is her specialty. Important Considerations - No house with young kids (Teens are ok) - No house with cats or small animals - She has food aggression toward other animals, but not humans. - She gets along great with other dogs at Pet Paradise, but we have no idea how she would be sharing a home with another dog. - Recommend someone/family who likes to go on walks and is still is active. NOLA is still full of spunk and energy and is not a lap dog. She sleeps most of the day but does love to run in the backyard and go on walks. If you're looking for a good dog who's well trained, NOLA could be perfect. We will not just rehome to anyone and would love to meet you in person. We are asking for a rehoming fee of $150 where we will donate to the animal organization of your choice. With this you will get all of the necessities that come with NOLA: 12+ months of Heartguard Rx, leash w/harness, dog bed, crate, food bowls, food bin, toys etc. We want to rehome responsibility as she is a great dog but unfortunately just cannot be around small kids.
