About Comet

Meet Comet! When this 3-year-old boy leaves the shelter, he will never, ever look back! For Comet, the shelter life rates a resounding four-paws down. He cannot wait to have space to run and explore as well as a human companion to call his own! As a Husky, Comet is an exuberant and athletic dog who craves exercise and activity! No adventure is too small. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would do well with a like-minded canine sibling. With prey drive, he isn't a match for cats and small animals. Comet is a sweet boy, but give him a little time to get to know you because initially he's uncertain of humans. He was underweight and unkempt when he was brought to the shelter so a little understanding goes a long way. Soon enough you'll see his loving side, which our friends at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Mass can testify to! No young children. Comet would prefer older, mature kids / teens who can appreciate his needs, not to mention his awesomeness! No apartments. Fenced yard is a big plus!
