About Bunny

German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Calling all GSD LOVERS%BD'%BD| FOSTER NEEDED, or better yet, ADOPTER!%BD'%BD| Meet BUNNY, a stunning, energetic & VERY SMART 1.5-2 year old blonde & black (with Amber eyes) female German Shepherd who will make an amazing addition to an active family home. At 13-months old, this strikingly girl was moments away from being put down in a high-kill shelter%BD'%BD| BUT lucky for her (& us!) we rescued Bunny just in time (with a male GSD, Cadbury) the day before Easter%BD'%BD| & every day since she has proved how deserving she is! Meeting her you would never know she had a rough start ~ She is healthy, happy, beautiful & FULL OF LIFE & LOVE TO GIVE! ***Bunny embodies all the characteristics of a young, large GSD%BD'%BD| she's loyal, intelligent, energetic, playful (ball-obsessed), trainable, sweet & affectionate%BD'%BD| Bunny LOVES humans, even giving her vet techs kisses! She is especially loving after practicing her training, burning off some happy energy, or getting brushed! Bunny has worked with a professional trainer on obedience/leash & knows commands (Sit, Down, Roll, Place/Free, Stay/Come, Leave it & Heel on leash). Bunny comes with a LIFETIME TRAINER contract to transfer to her adopter for continued training. She would love to learn new tricks, which you will find her eagerness to please makes training a joy & a fun way to bond with her (win some extra treats too!) ***Bunny would thrive with an ACTIVE ADOPTER who can keep up with her mental stimulation & energy requirements. This smart, spirited girl loves to spend time outdoors & on adventures (whether it's running, hiking, long walks, playing fetch or riding in the car) with the right active person/family who can also continue her training (since she is young). Bunny will require some patience in new places since the world is all new to her, she is curious about all the sights & smells around her! She is a quiet girl & only barks in excitement to play fetch%BD'%BD| or like most German Shepherds her loyalty also comes with protection, her bark is sure to scare off a coyote she senses near by! ***Bunny is a more people-centric dog & prefers to be the only pet in the home soaking up all the undivided attention & adventures. Although Bunny's bond with her rescue brother & living among foster dogs all sizes proves that she is comfortable with fellow canines, she is more interested in playing fetch with humans than with her doggie roommates. (Upon a meet & greet, she might entertain a non-dominant playful large dog or GSD as a romping buddy/sibling). Bunny says NO CATS please! ***Bunny loves being outdoors & needs a home with a yard to roam & play fetch. ***Adult owner with large dog handling/training experience preferred-GSD experience A PLUS! ***Bunny needs an adopter who can handle her size & strength. ***Since rescue, Bunny was fully vetted, spayed & recovered under her current foster's care & NOW is ready for adoption%BD'%BD| Bunny is waiting to meet her special humans to give her the active & loving life she so deserves! %BD%BD%90%BE%BD%BD%90%BD If you are ready to welcome Bunny into your life, go fill out the Application link today!
