About Benji

Benji is a wonderful dog. He gets along with everyone and everything. He knows many commands including twirl! He knows; come, sit, stay, lay down, shake left/right, leave it, twirl, go home, go, no begging, beep beep (excuse me), quiet, he even gives high fives! Benji does not like crates and prefers to have freedom in the house. He is potty trained and will not chew on your things. He prefers to sleep in the bed, but sometimes he sleeps on the couch. Benji will only be rehomed to a homeowner. We also prefer the adopting family have another dog, however will consider someone without a playmate if it feels right. He does well with large and small dogs, and cats too! Benji is up to date with his shots however, he does need an allergy pill, as needed. He is very food-motivated, and a bit overweight (10lbs) so he needs to be walked. (Playtime with another dog will help as well.)
