Meet Parker! Parker is about 1 year old and about 22 lbs. Our best guess is a Min Pin/Chi/Whippet mix. Good things come in small packages. Like jewelry....or if you're into furry four legged things... Parker! Parker hails from Puerto Rico and thanks to the rescue in Puerto Rico, Canines & Kitties, and a sweet volunteer who carried him onto a plane to the mainland, he is ready to live his best life in a home and off the streets. Parker is all sweetness and when he wags his tail, it's a full body wiggle. Parker is crate trained and is doing great with house breaking. He is a smart boy and is learning to ring the bell to go outside. He loves other dogs and is good with kids (young and old)! This dog is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Note that dog adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a dog saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
