All dogs are located in southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10 it is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Tempe or one hour east of Tucson Argus is a beautiful eight-year-old purebred German Shepherd. How does an eight-year-old wonderful boy end up in a shelter? He was picked up by Animal Control and brought to the shelter back in June. Nobody had come to look for him or adopt him. He arrived at our rescue, the middle of November poor Argus lived in the shelter five months Argus is eight years old and he weighs approximately 80 pounds. He is in good shape. The shelter groomed him magnificently!!! Argus loves people, he wants to be somebody's dog he wants to be with his human until the end of time! However, he does not have any separation anxiety, if you leave he is fine until you return. Argus is housebroken, and he is not destructive! Argus gets along with most dogs, although he prefers the girls. Argus loves to go on walks, he loves to do things with his family. He will be a great dog for a family who wants to walk, hike, explore the great outdoors! However, his very favorite activity is simply snuggling on the sofa Argus could be an apartment dog. He would be happy to watch Animal Planet while his family is at work or school. Please come meet Argus so he can be in his forever home for the holidays. 602-316-8919
