About Gus

Gus is a 2.5-year-old neutered Chihuahua mix who brings 11 pounds of pure love and joy to anyone he meets! This little guy's favorite thing in the world is snuggling up next to you on the couch and sharing all the love he has to give. House-trained: Gus is fully potty trained and sleeps in his crate at night. Outdoor Adventurer: He loves exploring the backyard and going on walks. He can be anxious around other dogs. He is working on this in training. People-Friendly: Gus is fantastic with kids and friendly with all strangers. Personality Highlights: Gus has a huge heart and is both food and affection-motivated. He's learning some basic commands and just started training to help him feel more confident. The Perfect Home: Right now, Gus needs a home where someone is home all the time as he's working through separation anxiety. Ideally, someone who works from home or is retired. Gus would do well with a couple or family.
