Stella is about 6 years old. I rescued her 2 years ago from a puppy mill, along with her brother Max. They both came to me with advanced heartworms. $3200 later, they are gone. Now she is dealing with hypothyroidism....she is at 126, down from 143 and her energy is increasing. Stella needs a ranch type house with a dog door, so she can get outside when she needs to and remain a 'good girl'. I am in the city with 16 stairs up/down...and I cannot take her peeing anymore. Tonight was the 1st time in 6 months, but its the dread. I am too old [73] to do with a difficult pup. there is no room in my house for a crate: 3BR 1150 sq ft, and so, now she lives in the breezeway until I find something or someone better. She might live out there until the end of her days unless you call. She is a fuzzy, very soft and luxuriant fur that needs brushing often.
