About REED

Foxhound mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet adoptable Reed! Reed was seized from his previous owners due to neglect. He was found pretty emaciated with no shelter to get out of the elements. Despite his hard past, he is very sweet and hopeful to find a forever home that is perfect for him soon. Reed is a very gentle and sweet feller. We don't think he has a mean bone in his body, and is the type of dog that what you see is pretty much what you get. He is social with everyone he meets and outgoing. It doesn't take much to get him sprawled out across your lap awaiting belly rubs. He seems to really enjoy laying tug-o-war and will occasionally bring you the toy to initiate play. Reed is good with other dogs! We think he would be fine with kids. Reed is more than ready to find a forever home of his own, Reed weighs 50 pounds currently, but may weigh closer to 60 once he has put good weight on. He is around three years of age. Reed has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and hast tested negative for heartworm disease.
