About Mako

My name is Mako, I am 2 yrs old and here's my Christmas wish list. - A home with lots of snuggles, treatos and toys. - My person to love me forever - A fenced yard I can play in. I love being outside. - Another dog friend to keep me company would be great. Although I am okay as a single dog too. A little more about me.. I'm a double Merle Australian shepherd. I'm a smaller guy at almost 40 pounds and I am partially blind. It does not hold me back though. I navigate new areas well, I just may occasionally bump into things that I can't see in my peripheral. Oops it happens. ��%A4���%8Fȉ'�%8D����%8F I am currently living with a foster doggy brother and sister who are bigger than me. I love playing with them. My foster parents also have a cat. I like her too. I lived with a cat and a smaller dog in my previous home. I can get a little grumbly towards the other dogs over bones. My foster mom just redirects me and then I'm back to being a good boy. I used a crate in my previous home but I'm also a good boy when left home alone outside of the crate. I have a crate available for comfort in my foster home but I haven't needed it. Nobody's perfect so I do have some basic skills I could work on like down and stay. I'm a master at sit though. ��%A4� I won't lie, I could use some help with walking on a leash too. I just get so excited! I am skittish around loud noises so I'd probably be most comfortable in a home with older kiddos. I'm a friendly guy and have loved everyone I've met so far! Do I sound like the perfect pup for you?
