About Riley

Riley is a 14-year-old, 7 lb. Miniature Poodle. Riley is just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet! She can sometimes be mistaken for a stuffed animal because she is such a soft little fluffball. She is incredibly sweet and gentle with everyone and all she wants in life is to snuggle on your lap and be close to you. She would be an ideal pet for an older, calmer couple or person and would do best with someone who is home more often. She does love cuddling up to her foster dog siblings and prefers being around smaller dogs because they are less scary than the big ones to her. She is 100% potty-trained and only likes to go outside to do her business and then come right back in and find a warm spot on the couch. She also knows how to use potty pads too! She loves to help the kids in her foster home with their homework by keeping them company (check out her pictures for evidence!) She will watch over them and make sure they get all their work done too! When she wants your attention, she is oh so polite about it and will gently paw you until you give her some pets. Riley can't wait to settle down in her forever home and live out her golden years with a loving family! Riley does have cataracts in her right eye, but this does not seem to bother her. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible.
