About Maui

Maui is a 4 year old blue heeler mix. He likes people and loves playing fetch, frisbee, and running, hiking, or camping. Maui knows over a dozen tricks and learns quick! His temperament with other dogs varies: he gets along great with some dogs (generally smaller breeds and other heelers), but tends to want to herd large or fluffy dogs. We have loved adventuring with this guy but are heartbroken that we need to re-home him as he is not adjusting well to our 6 month old. He will do best with someone who is familiar with cattle dog behavior and can keep up with his energetic needs. Please reach out with any questions as we want to ensure the best fit for him.
