About Jaxson

Welcome Jaxson fka Polo! Things have a way of working out, indeed. A Good Samaritan spotted a post on a local Facebook page about a free puppy and connected with one of our volunteers. After meeting with the person giving the dog away, she took him in. Coincidentally, the same person had also emailed us about donating her dog to the rescue! Thankfully, this pup made it to a safe place. Jaxson is about 7 months old and already weighs 51 lbs. Our gratitude goes to volunteer Peggy, who took him to a vaccination clinic yesterday, got him up-to-date on vaccines, and even covered the cost herself. Jaxson is now staying in foster care with the kind lady who initially picked him up. He's a sweet, strong boy, friendly with people and showing no signs of resource guarding. He needs to be further vetted and neutered. We'll be learning more about him in the days ahead to find the ideal forever home for him! Thank you to all who helped him!
