Kane, formerly known as Fruity Pebbles from Queens Animal Care & Control, has just arrived at his new foster home in Upstate NY this past weekend and is settling in. When Kane was found, he was abandoned in an apartment, in a crate stacked on top of his housemate's crate, both without bottom trays, food, or water. We haven't weighed him recently, but he's definitely gained a few pounds since coming to us. He is always on the move, takes time to settle, and had no previous training (behavioral or potty). Now, with his new foster home, we are focusing on his training and routines to help him become the sweet boy we know he is. He still needs to gain more weight and learn his basics before he's ready for adoption, but that just means we have more time to love this little velvety boy. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
