OWNER UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT KEEP DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS (please no negative comments, owner is at least asking for help to rehome) Please help us find a loving, responsible home for adorable Yuzu, an approximate 40 + lb boy who appears to be purebred. His current owner was given him as a gift when he was said to be 4 months old, but she does not know his background before this. Yuzu's owner is not in a position to keep him long term, and thus reached out to us for help so he can find the loving, forever home he deserves. Yuzu is described by his owner as Friendly with people and dogs-- unknown for kids and cats. Potty trained. Goes outdoors but if he is kept indoors knows how to use puppy pads as well. Will whine to go outside for potty if no pads are left out.' The owner was not aware of any behavior or medical issues when asked. However, at this point, the owner cannot afford his care, and thus we are asking that Yuzu's new home pre-schedule and pay for his neutering and microchip. Chow or dog experience is preferred. If you have another dog or pet, a meet and greet is strongly advised. Sorry, we do not do transport to private homes unless a rescue is involved due to risks of a home or dog not working out for any reason. However, the current owner would consider meeting a home part way if it is not too far. All adopters will be asked for a home check (which may be virtual), an application, a vet reference and an adoption contract. Yuzu is vaccinated and will be neutered as a condition of any adoption.
