About Duke

Hi everyone! I am looking for Duke's forever home. My father passed away on August 26, 2024, leaving behind his best friend. My boyfriend and I took Duke in to foster him. Duke is a husky mix, believed to be mixed with heeler. Duke will be two around May. I am not sure the exact date, but I know it is in May. Duke is fixed and updated on shots. Duke is a very loving dog. He thinks he is a lap dog 24/7. Duke loves giving kisses and snuggling you. Duke also has his playful side and energetic side. He could play fetch for hours. Duke has done well with being introduced to people. We were catious at first because I was not sure if my father had him around people, but Duke seems to be doing well. He has done well around my boyfriend, his family, my family, and myself. If interested, we can do a face to face, but we would put a muzzle on Duke to just be on the safe side. We have took him into Petsmart before, and he done well. Duke has done well playing with our other two dogs, but have had dominance issues with our senior dog. Duke does have dominant tendencies at times. He does play fetch well with our lab, but I believe he can be dominant at times because of being the only dog my father owned. Duke has done well with younger dogs. My boyfriend and I would love to find a forever home for Duke. My father would love for Duke to be in a healthy and safe environment.
